Head injury or concussion suspected?

4 HOURS
Carefully observe injured person for the first 4 hours after injury. After 4 hours, they may be allowed to sleep.
MEDICATION
It is OK to take Tylenol. Avoid NSAIDS (Motrin, Aleve, Aspirin, etc.) for the first 24 hours.
REST
Take it easy and avoid activities that increase symptoms.
HYDRATION & NUTRITION
Encourage hydration and balanced nutrition.
MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
See a medical professional before returning to impact-risk activities.
